Dubai Visa for Indian Citizens

This is the part most travellers get wrong, so here’s the straight version:

  • Indian passport holders are not automatically eligible for visa-on-arrival. You need a UAE tourist visa arranged in advance for most cases.
  • Exception: if you hold a valid, unexpired visa or residence permit from the US, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, or Singapore (each with at least 6 months’ validity), you may qualify for a 14-day single-entry visa on arrival.
