Turkey Tour Packages from India

Istanbul, Cappadocia and Pamukkale — customised 6N/7D and 7N/8D Turkey holidays from Bangalore, with visa guidance built into every package.

Turkey has become one of the most-searched international destinations for Indian travellers, and it’s easy to see why: you get European architecture, a Cappadocia landscape that looks like nowhere else on earth, and genuinely good value compared to Western Europe — all in one trip. The catch is that Turkey tour packages from India need slightly more planning than a Dubai or Singapore trip, mainly because of the visa process and because Turkey rewards a multi-city itinerary rather than a single-city stay.

This page is built to answer the questions Bangalore travellers actually ask before booking: how many days you need, what a realistic budget looks like, whether you qualify for the simpler e-Visa route or need the standard visa process, and what a properly paced Istanbul–Cappadocia itinerary looks like day by day.

Our Vision

Why Turkey Is Worth the Slightly Longer Planning

  • Two continents, one trip — Istanbul straddles Europe and Asia, and crossing the Bosphorus by ferry is a genuinely unique experience you can’t get elsewhere
  • Cappadocia’s hot air balloon sunrise — consistently rated as one of the most memorable experiences by travellers, and the single biggest reason this destination trends on Instagram every season
  • Strong value versus Western Europe — similar architectural grandeur and food culture at a noticeably lower cost per day
  • Works for every traveller type — history lovers (Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Ephesus), honeymoon couples (cave hotels in Göreme), and families (Istanbul’s walkable old city)

As a tour and travel agency in Bangalore, we build Turkey itineraries around the two things that matter most for this destination: correct visa-route guidance (this is where most independent travellers get stuck) and realistic day-by-day pacing between cities, since Istanbul and Cappadocia require a short domestic flight between them.

Our Mission

Top Places to Visit in Turkey

  • Hagia Sophia & the Blue Mosque (Istanbul) — two of the most significant religious and architectural sites in the world, a short walk from each other in Sultanahmet
  • Topkapi Palace & the Grand Bazaar — the former residence of Ottoman sultans, paired with one of the world’s oldest covered markets
  • Bosphorus Cruise — a boat ride between the European and Asian sides of Istanbul, best done at sunset
  • Cappadocia hot air balloon ride — book this in advance; it’s weather-dependent and the single most in-demand activity on any Turkey itinerary
  • Göreme Open Air Museum — UNESCO-listed cave churches carved into Cappadocia’s distinctive rock formations
  • Pamukkale (“Cotton Castle”) — white travertine terraces and thermal pools, often paired with the ancient ruins of Hierapolis
  • Ephesus — one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean, including the Library of Celsus
  • Antalya / Turkish Riviera — for travellers extending beyond 8 days who want a beach-and-history combination

Turkey Visa for Indian Citizens — Read This Before You Book

This is the one part of Turkey planning where most people get confused, so we’re being direct about it:

  • Turkey does not offer visa-on-arrival or visa-free entry to Indian citizens. Every Indian traveller needs a visa arranged in advance.
  • The e-Visa route is conditional, not automatic. You’re only eligible for Turkey’s fast e-Visa (typically processed within 24–72 hours) if you already hold a valid Schengen, US, UK, or Ireland visa or residence permit.
  • If you don’t hold one of those visas, you’ll need to apply for a standard “sticker” visa through an authorised Turkish visa application centre in India. This route takes meaningfully longer — typically 1 to 3 weeks, sometimes longer in peak season — and requires a fuller document set (bank statements, confirmed hotel and flight bookings, and proof of funds).
  • Mandatory travel insurance with a minimum coverage amount is required as part of most Turkish visa applications.
  • Because of this conditional eligibility, we recommend starting your Turkey visa process at least 3–4 weeks before your travel date — this is the single most common reason Turkey trips get delayed or rebooked.

We assess your visa eligibility (e-Visa vs standard visa) as the very first step when you enquire, so you know your real timeline before you commit to travel dates.

Best Time to Visit Turkey from India

SeasonMonthsWhat to expect
Best overallApril–May, September–NovemberComfortable temperatures, good hot-air-balloon flying conditions in Cappadocia, fewer crowds than peak summer
Peak summerJune–AugustHot, especially inland; Istanbul and the coast get crowded and pricier
WinterDecember–FebruaryCold, especially in Cappadocia and inland Turkey; balloon flights are weather-dependent and more often cancelled; good for travellers prioritising lower prices over guaranteed balloon rides

If a Cappadocia hot air balloon ride is the main reason you’re booking Turkey (it usually is), avoid peak winter — flight cancellations due to wind/weather are noticeably more common.

How to Reach Turkey from Bangalore

There is no direct flight from Bangalore to Istanbul. Most itineraries route through a connecting hub (commonly Gulf or European carriers), with total travel time of roughly 8–10 hours including the layover. We book your international flights as part of the package to align with your Turkey internal itinerary and visa appointment timing.

Why Travel with RTW Travel & Tours for Your Turkey Trip

  • We sort out your visa route first — e-Visa vs standard visa — before you lock in travel dates, avoiding the most common Turkey planning mistake
  • Multi-city logistics handled for you — domestic flights, cave-hotel bookings, and transfers between Istanbul and Cappadocia coordinated as one itinerary
  • Realistic pacing — we don’t cram Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Pamukkale into 6 days if it means rushing the balloon ride or the Bosphorus cruise
  • Based in Bangalore (Richmond Road), with direct, personal support throughout your visa and travel process
