Our Vision

Why Malaysia Works So Well for Bangalore Travellers

  • Visa free entry, genuinely no paperwork: Indian passport holders can currently enter Malaysia for tourism stays of up to 30 days without applying for a visa, only a free online arrival card
  • Direct flight, multiple airlines: AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, Batik Air and IndiGo all fly nonstop from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur in a little over 4 hours
  • Three destinations in one trip: a modern capital city, a cool hill station casino resort, and genuine tropical islands, without needing more than one or two internal transfers
  • Works for every traveller type: families get Genting’s theme park and KL’s aquarium and zoo, couples get Langkawi’s beach resorts, and shoppers get Kuala Lumpur’s malls and night markets

As a best tour travel agency in Bangalore, we typically position Malaysia as either a standalone 4 to 5 day Kuala Lumpur and Genting trip, or extended to 6 to 7 days with a Langkawi or Penang add-on for travellers who want a beach component as well. It also pairs naturally with our Singapore tour package, since Kuala Lumpur is under an hour from Singapore by air.

Our Mission

Top Places to Visit in Malaysia

  • Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park: the defining image of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, with an observation deck, a park at its base, and the Suria KLCC mall attached
  • Batu Caves: limestone caves and a Hindu temple complex reached by a steep flight of colourful steps, one of the most photographed sites in the city
  • Genting Highlands: a cool-climate hill resort reached by cable car, with a theme park, casino resort and noticeably cooler weather than the city below
  • Merdeka Square and Central Market: the historic heart of colonial-era Kuala Lumpur, good for a half-day walking tour combined with local craft shopping
  • Langkawi: an island escape with Pantai Cenang beach, the Langkawi Sky Bridge cable car, and duty-free shopping, usually added as a 2 to 3 night extension
  • Penang (George Town): heritage streets, street art and one of Southeast Asia’s best food scenes, a popular alternative extension to Langkawi
  • KL Tower and Bukit Bintang: a second skyline viewpoint and the city’s main nightlife and shopping district

Malaysia Visa for Indian Citizens

The good news here is straightforward, unlike some of Malaysia’s neighbours whose entry rules have shifted several times through 2026:

  • Indian passport holders can currently enter Malaysia visa free for tourism, business and social visits of up to 30 days per entry.
  • This visa exemption has been extended through 31 December 2026 by the Malaysian government, covering all major entry points including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu.
  • You still need to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online, ideally within 3 days before arrival. It is free, but mandatory, and airlines and immigration officers do check for it.
  • Standard documents to carry: a passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, a confirmed return or onward flight ticket, your hotel booking confirmation, and proof of sufficient funds for your stay.
  • The 30-day stay cannot be extended from inside Malaysia. If you need longer, you would need to exit and re-enter for a fresh stamp, or apply for a visa in advance if your trip genuinely requires more than 30 days.
  • Since the current exemption is confirmed only through 31 December 2026, we check that your travel dates fall comfortably within this window as part of your booking, and will guide you through the alternative e-Visa process if Malaysia’s policy changes before your trip.

We handle your MDAC submission guidance as part of your package, so this straightforward process stays straightforward.

Best Time to Visit Malaysia from Bangalore

Malaysia sits near the equator, so temperatures stay warm and humid for most of the year, but rainfall does shift by region and season:

PeriodWhat to expect
December to FebruaryGenerally the coolest and driest stretch for Kuala Lumpur and the west coast, a reliable window for city sightseeing
March to OctoberWarm with regular short afternoon showers, generally fine for travel, though Langkawi and the west coast islands are at their best in this window
November to January (east coast and parts of Langkawi)The northeast monsoon can bring heavier rain to the east coast; Kuala Lumpur and Genting are largely unaffected since they sit on the west coast

Genting Highlands is noticeably cooler than Kuala Lumpur year round due to its elevation, so it works as a comfortable day trip regardless of when you travel.
